Emma is 5 today. We are very proud of her. Here she is playing with one of her presents - we think we have a potential architect or engineer on our hands!

Lot’s been happening around the house this last week.
Katey has finally got her first tooth. Weeks of drooling and nappy rash have given way to her first teeth. She is a much happier child already.

We replaced our hob and oven. With a little help from my next door neighbour I managed to get the new one installed in one afternoon. The new hob and oven are black compared to the old white one. It has made quiet a difference to the kitchen. It looks pretty good if I don’t say so myself.

We also replaced the carpets in the passageway, Emma’s bedroom and the twins’ room as well. All the rooms are a much better sight now.

Next is painting. I have no inclination to do the painting, so as soon as we can find someone to do it we will tackle that project.

We have had ADSL at home now for 5 days and it is magic. The throughput is just amazing. It's causing some interference on the phone line at the moment, but Telkom are looking into it. I have signed up for a 5GB account and hopefully that should be enough for the average month.

Telkom are threatening to pull their ADSL service because ICASA is telling them that they are making too much money from the service. At last! Telkom really enjoys bullying ICASA so we will have to see how this one plays out.

Between the ADSL and the new satellite TV many late night lie ahead.
