I love public holidays!

Well the last 10 days has had two public holidays in them. Last Wednesday was Freedom day and Sunday was 1 May so Monday was a hliday as well. A nice long weekend.

I did a bit of work around the house. I managed to place a picket fence in front of an open area that is part of our neighbours unit. We cannot put anything permanent there becuase the master water tap is there. The area is really an eyesore and Laurie has been wanting to do something about it for a long time. We found green painted lengths of picket fence at Lifestyles and I have used two sections to mount to the wall. It looks quite good.

I also mounted a panel heater in the nursery. Winter is coming fast this year. We bought ourselves a halogen bar heater for our room as well. I am sure that Laurie will put the electric blanket on the bed this week. I suspect that we are going to have a really cold winter this year. Bummer!!

The next 2 weeks look like they are going to be hectic to.

Audra flies in on Thursday and I am going to pick her up from the airport in the morning. My folks drive up later that same day and I am taking them to the airport in the afternoon! They are off to the UK to spen a month with Graham.

The following Thursday we leave for Pmb and Durban for a week. The twins are being baptised on Sunday. Big party. Emma leigh is flying down to Durban with Kathy which should be very exciting for her.

Laurie's grandmother turns 90 on Monday 16th.

So all in all a hectic few weeks.
