Yesterday was another red letter day. Dominic came home from the hospital at last. Had a rather sleepless night. Just what I needed for my first day back at work.
I will post a picture of the twins in the coming days. Seeing them sleeping side-by-side at home really brought the truth home. We are parents to twins. Oh my goodness.
Emma-Leigh has taken to engineering this holiday. She has been building all types of structures with her Duplo blocks. It has been quite impressive to watch. I do not know what suddenly clicked this holiday that made her want to build. It must be a developmental thing!
It is midday at work and I need a pair of matchsticks to keep my eyelids open. I have a sachet of Vitathion burning a hole in my shirt pocket. I am trying to hold off as long as possible before I have it. I do not think I am going to be able to resist for much longer. The secret of course is not to wait too long and find your boss shaking you awake. As you lift your head the drool is still coming out of your mouth and contributing to the already rather large puddle on the desk.
OK, so its not that bad! The good thing is that we feel low we can just setup a conference call with Michele and Gavin and soon Inge and Mike and then by April smile all knowingly when Len and Rosanne call.
